1. Purchasing Executive

CHIPSOURCE Europe ,
an independent distributor of electronic components to the world’s OEM and CEM’s. Located in Almere the Netherlands is looking for new members to join the team.

Position: Purchasing Executive

Functions: As a purchasing executive you are responsible for sourcing electronic components or related commodities all over the world. Through the use of the appropriate sourcing platform, you contact all suppliers via mails and phones sourcing the needed components, drive down the total Cost of these commodities and components with excellent negotiation skills.

In order to contribute to CHIPSOURCE’s business profitability you develop and execute a business plan for Sourcing and procurements. Next to this you develop and maintain active relationships with CHIPSOURCE’s suppliers worldwide and as well as finding new suppliers worldwide. Furthermore you keep yourself informed with the latest technologies, practices and knowledge on indirect procurement. With this information you are able to initiate and drive the development of the purchasing departments. You lead sourcing and procurements departments to identify and capture saving opportunities and report to the sales department. In this position, negotiation skills and quick sourcing results are of vital importance.

The profile

  • Business Administration or Business Economics;
  • Approximately 1 year sourcing and procurement experience within an international (commercial) organisation;
  • Strong management and analytical skills;
  • Good communication, negotiation and organisation skills;
  • Fluent English (in writing and verbally) and preferably a second European language.

Result driven and enthusiasm, you are able to promote teamwork within the group by focusing on goals and strategies.


2. Sales executive

Function: As the sales executive, you are responsible for selling electronic components or related commodities to all our clients all over the world.

In order to contribute to CHIPSOURCE’s business profitability you develop and execute a business plan. Next to this you develop and maintain active relationships with CHIPSOURCE’s clients worldwide and as well as finding new clients worldwide. Furthermore you keep yourself informed with the latest technologies, practices and knowledge on electronic industries. With this information you are able to initiate and drive the development of the sales departments. You work closely with the purchasing departments of the world OEM’s to identify and capture sales opportunities and report to the sales department. In this position, negotiation skills and quick sourcing results are of vital importance.
